tuna 2021
We are your premier, full-service charter office. Our office is open seven days a week during the fishing season. Come on by and let’s talk fishing!

TUNA 2021
Your trip includes use of one of our high-quality rod/reel setups; all your bait and gear. You can bring your own gear if you would like, but please NO braided line. All trips are limited to 6 to 11 anglers, depending on the boat.
Cost: 1-Day $455 (6-man) • 1.5-Day $585 • 2-Day $620
On 2-Day trips, you will board the boat in the evening. Your cooler is stowed outside the boat; usually on the port side. Your duffel goes on or near your bunk (pack lightly, clothing wise: this isn’t a 14-day cruise.)
Enjoy the leisurely trip out to the fishing grounds, it will be anywhere between 40-75 miles. Get a good night’s sleep: you’ll be busy tomorrow!
At dawn, the Captain will start the engines and the crew will set up the trolling lines. When one of the lines hits, the crew shots “HOOK UP!” The Captain then circles the boat back around to where the fish hit, and a “bait stop” will begin.
During the bait stop, you’ll be feeding out line for your baited live anchovy. When the tuna hits the line, click off the freespool and the battle’s on! On a good bait stop the fishing can go on for hours: once you’ve landed your fish, grab another anchovy and start in again.
We fish dawn to dusk on the first day; then fish the morning of the second day before we head in, exhausted and happy, with memories to last a lifetime (or at least until next season!!!)
Booking your tuna trip is a lot like the procedure used to book an airline trip. The first thing you need to do is pick out your trip date. Our website is updated constantly; check it for the latest trip availability.
When you have selected your preferred departure dates, give us a call. We’ll get your reservation set up in our system.
You’ll receive a printed confirmation packet that includes general trip information. A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation.
For 2-Day tips, please check in by 5PM the day of your trip. Departure is between 7PM and midnight, depending on tides and weather. On 1-Day trips check in is at 5:15AM with departure at 6:00AM. The office staff will let you know:
- When you can board and stow your gear, and
- When the boat is departing
