SALMON FISHING Season - 2007 season is now open seven days a week through September 16th. Limit - 2 fish, one of which can be a King. Release all wild Coho. Departure Time - 6:00 AM Return Time (approx.) - 2:00 PM or earlier if limits are reached. Types of Trips - Salmon Weekday, Salmon Weekend, Salmon Six Man Boat Weekday, Salmon Six Man Boat Weekend, Combo Big Boat , Combo Six Man Boat.  Combo Trips last about 11 hours. Specials - Salmon motel packages available for weekday trips (Mon - Thu) only with room accommodations limited to Sun - Wed stays. Other Information - Salmon are cleaned for free. BOTTOM FISHING Season - Daily from March 18th - October 15th Limit - 10 Rockfish, 2 Lingcod, 3 other kinds of Bottom Fish Departure Time - 7:00 AM Return Time (approx.) - 3:00 PM unless limits are reached earlier, or 6:00 PM (11 hour trip) Types of Trips - Bottom Fish, Combo Big Boat Weekday, Combo Big Boat Weekend, Combo Six Man Boat.  Combo Trips last about 11 hours. Specials - Bottom Fishing Motel packages available any day except during salmon season when they are available only on Thu and Fri. Other Information - Deckhands charge $6.00 to fillet your daily limit of bottom fish. HALIBUT FISHING Season - Opens May 1st and runs Sundays through Thursdays until quota is met (probably by Memorial day). Limit - One halibut.  Departure Time - 5:00 AM Return Time (approx.) - 4:00 PM Types of Trips - Halibut Other Information - BONUS!  If time permits you may be able to bottom fish on the way home.  Deckhands will fillet your halibut for about $3.00 - $4.00. TUNA FISHING Season - August through September Limit - NO Limit (5 fish is a good trip) Check-in Time - 6:00 PM (evening departures allow boats to reach fishing areas by daybreak).  4:00 AM for daytime ½ day trips (lasting 12 hours) - these trips only available under certain conditions. Return Time (approx.) - 1 ½ day trips return in the early morning of the second day, 2 day trips return at 4:00 PM (may return early if trip is too productive).  ½ day trips return between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Types of Trips - 1 ½ day, 2 day.  1 day trip may be available if fish are close.  Also, ½ day trips (12 hrs) may be available if fish are really close - leave early morning, return late afternoon. Other Information - For most boats, bring a sleeping bag, warm clothes, and enough food for the whole trip (only water and coffee are provided).  Check the schedule page for information about each boat's amenities and available dates.  Boats carry from 6 - 10 fisherman.  Deckhands will fillet your fish for approx $3.00 per fish. WHALE WATCHING Season - March 18th through April Limit - As many as you can catch with your camera Departure Time - Varies with the tides.   Return Time (approx.) - 2 ½ hours after departure Types of Trips - 2½ hour trip Other Information - Excursions run daily but require a minimum of four passengers.  TIPS FOR ALL TRIPS Rod and Tackle is provided on all of our trips at no charge.  However, feel free to bring along your own secret weapon if you prefer. CHECK-IN at least 45 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Free coffee on board all boats. Dress warmly - light rain gear is advised. Please wear non-skid shoes. Bring along a lunch - small coolers are allowed on board the boats.  For tuna trips, see 'Other Information' under Tuna above. Free fish bags are available for your catch. Ice available for $1.00 per bag. Boats may return early once limits are caught. PLEASE TIP YOUR DECKHAND. VISA AND MASTERCARD gladly accepted.	PRICING SCHEDULE Prices listed include 8.3% tax. Deposits (less service fees) are refundable if the following criteria are met: notice is received at least 72 hours prior to departure  time for salmon, halibut and bottom fishing trips, or notice is received at least 21 days prior to departure date for tuna trips, and no deposit will be refunded if notice is not received as indicated above. Reservation cancellations are subject to a service fee charge of $5.00 or 5% (whichever is greater) of the trip/package total.   LICENSE INFO One day fish/shellfish licenses are available for residents and non-residents for $9.00 each. Season licenses are no longer available from Deep Sea Charters. Licenses are required for Tuna fishing.  MOTEL PACKAGE INFO All rates are per person and based on double occupancy. Packages include: one night in motel, breakfast, box lunch, one day fishing trip and rod and tackle. During salmon season, motel packages are available for weekday Salmon trips (Mon - Thu) and weekend Bottom Fishing trips (Fri - Sat) only. Salmon trip accommodations are available for Sun - Wed  nights only (salmon season). Bottom Fishing trip accommodations are available for Thu - Fri nights only (salmon season). Outside of salmon season, bottom fishing motel packages are available any day of the week. SPECIAL NOTICES We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone., Prices subject to change at any time.
